E H Thorne (Beehives) Ltd / The Beekeeper Baron, Agriculture / We envisaged the Baron as a beekeeper, with a veil, possibly turned up so the face is visible, holding a beekeepers smoker or hive tool, perhaps decorated on the back with a typical 13th monastic scene of monks attending straw hives (skeps)
Also on the front images of modern beehives, the type we make. A visit to our shop at Rand would prove invaluable to the artist.
Pennells / Floral, Flowers Gardening
Stagecoach Lincolnshire / Transport Tourism
The EBP / Young Baron, / The Young Baron should represent The EBP ( Our initial idea was to have the baron covered in positive news headlines about young people, similar to the Galliano artwork ( but more about the headlines with a nod to NCS and the 2015 NCS T Shirt with the inclusion of headphones being wrapped around him, a link to an image of this t shirt is The reason for these ideas is that as an organisation, we believe in empowering young people and giving them the opportunity to do positive things in life, whether it is improving their skills or developing their career prospects. The positive headlines is a good fit because it is “real” and celebrates the amazing things that young people can do. These are simply our ideas, we would be delighted if there were other ideas that still represent the power and voice of young people, or if this idea was developed into something that could work on a Baron.

We are looking for a design that clearly showssteampunk is part of Lincoln's current cultural scene. The design should reflect that steampunk is a modern, contemporaryculture that often draws inspiration from the past but is a celebration of creativity andimagination
