APUSH / FINAL REVIEW PROJECT FOR THE AP EXAM / 2017 / MR. LIPMAN

In order to properly review for the AP Exam, all students will participate in a group project utilizing the AMSCO history review books. Each group will consist of two to four students. The groups will receive their grade collectively. Thus it will be important that each student do their portion of the assignment to the best of their ability. If a student is not doing their "fair share", and you have discussed that internally with the group, then it will be your responsibility to bring that fact to my attention BEFORE the assignments are graded. This project will last from now until the exam, which will be given on Friday, May 5th. The project grades, which will be summative, are in addition to the other reading assignments that have already been given out.

Below you will find the 9 periods of the APUS course broken down by reading sections of the AMSCO book. Each group will be responsible for preparing a review sheet that is a maximum of two pages (single space, font 11) for EACH period. The goal is two prepare a total of 9 pages (front and back) for the group too have as a review. The group itself will decide how to divide the work between its members but the easiest way is for each member to read one of the designated portions and prepare a short summary of it. These summaries will then be combined together to form the one page review summary indicated above. It is important to remember that our two classes are a team and the ultimate goal is for all team members to pass the exam and thus everyone has to do their part.
