Pavement Preservation Techniques Showcase
The Connecticut Technology Transfer Center (T2 Center) and the New England Chapter of the American Public Works Association (NEAPWA) are hosting a Pavement Preservation Workshop on October 30, 2012 in New Britain. The goal of the workshop is to present various pavement preservation techniques to Connecticut Municipalities. In order to ensure a wide range of valuable information is provided to the participants, the planning committee is soliciting sponsorships from companies involved in pavement preservation and abstracts for the speakers in the technical sessions.
Due to limited space and the need to ensure a quality workshop, interested companies are required to submit an abstract, which will be used to determine participation in the event. Abstracts will be scored and ranked by category. Only the top twoabstracts in each category will be allowed to participate, with a total number of sponsors not to exceed 16. The top abstract will present, and the second abstract will chair that topics’ roundtable discussion.
Sponsorship fees are $300 per company, and include attendance for two individuals, a presentation table, participation in the roundtable discussion and the ability to present if your abstract is selected for your topic.
The following page contains the abstract submittal form. This must be received by Howard Weissberg, Associate City Engineer, Meriden, CT, no later than September 21, 2012, to be considered for participation. The attached form can be emailed to or faxed to 203-630-4015.
We look forward to your participation.
