JDK Management Company, LP seeks a seasoned Senior Director of HR. The position is based in Bloomsburg, PA and will require occasional travel to its facilities throughout PA and OH, with a smaller number in FL, and events as needed. The Senior Director of HR will oversee all of the people functions of the organization and provide the direction necessary to align them with business needs, organizational philosophy, policies and practices, and ethical and compliant practices and regulations. Provide strategic human resource guidance and planning to attract, reward, develop, manage and retain the best talent available. Develop and manage a fiscally responsible department budget that provides resources and programs to meet business needs. Responsibilities include:

·  Contribute to the development of the organization’s overall strategies, plans and programs; providing a talent management perspective.

·  Translate strategic and tactical business plans into high impact HR plans and programs that align with business needs and promote compliance and risk mitigation.

·  Work with HR Director of Restaurants in the talent acquisition and retention strategy, providing direction to the recruiting function to ensure identification of top talent and recruiting for management positions. Provide direction to the recruiting function and lead recruitment for executive positions.

·  Provide guidance and training to management on organizational communication, organizational effectiveness, organization development, employee rewards, employee relations, performance management, change management and leadership development.

·  Direct, mentor, and coach the Benefits Coordinator and training staff; cultivate a department culture of high customer service, team work and performance; and provide tactical, hands on HR support as necessary for the effective and timely delivery of HR services and programs.

·  Provide strategic direction with regard to benefits programs, and ensure plans are administered with cost effectiveness and compliance, while continuing to meet the needs of the employees of the organization. Oversee the day‑to‑day functions of benefits and salary administration, payroll, time reporting and tracking, and new hire intake.

·  Provide direction, management, and oversight for Unemployment Compensation and Worker’s Compensation claims and policies on handling claims. Ensure that both claim processes are administered with cost effectiveness and compliance.

Requirements

·  5+ years of increasing responsibility HR experience.

·  A college degree and/or PHR or other relevant certification; or an advanced degree is required.

·  Ability to work and relate professionally, effectively, and collaboratively at an executive level with executives, managers, vendors and business leaders; as well as with all level of employees.

·  Superior oral and written communication skills. Effective at persuading, motivating, mediating, resolving disputes, and negotiating.

·  Significant experience managing employee benefits including pension plans, employee rewards, employee development, employee relations, recruitment, training, payroll, organizational effectiveness and change management programs.

·  Must be a decisive, responsive, organized, and flexible HR executive with strong problem solving, mediation, time and project management skills, a strategic business focus, and ability to work at a tactical implementation level.
