Moulton Community Centre Room Specifications

MAIN HALL

Fully sprung timber laminate flooring.

General power/data points to walls.

High level Wi-Fi point (for Centre Wi-Fi system).

High level power/data points for screen located on end wall (screen not provided).

Electrically operated blackout blinds to all windows.

Noise Limiter (as required as Planning Condition). This equipment is wired into the sockets at end of Hall (where a stage would be located) and is pre-set (and cannot be altered!) at a maximum sound level of music/performance, etc. (also set by the Local Authority). Any speakers/amplification system is plugged into these sockets and a microphone is located halfway along the Hall to pick up the sound level and if the maximum level is breached, the power to these sockets is turned off. The sockets can then be switched back on but will go off again if the sound limit is breached again. Note – The system is only wired to the sockets at the ned of the Hall, which would be used for plugging in speakers/amplifiers, not all the sockets.

A high level vertical bar and power sockets, located on each side of the Hall for drama/performance lighting. Note - The actual lights are not provided.

Integral hearing assistance system, inclusive of microphone and amplification, for use by the hard of hearing. The system is “picked up” on any hearing aid.

Folding acoustic panels/wall that when opened will open out the Main Hall with the adjacent Small Hall.

Access to main centre Kitchen (fully fitted as commercial kitchen) – via Small Hall.

Access to “public toilets” including Disabled WC.

Access to shower and Disabled Shower.

Access to adjacent Café, Servery and Bar areas.

SMALL HALL

Although the Children’s Toilets, Kitchen and Store are to beused exclusively by the Pre-School, there is still the following for “general use”.
