Robert Peter. 20 August 1930 to 3 June 2003. Loved and esteemed friend of Ron and Ellie. Our sincere condolences to Maisie, Linda and Bruce and family and Julie. Bob, Our friendship lasted for 60 years. I remember we first met when you delivered meat for Mayor's Butchery and I delivered groceries for the Farmer's Trading Company in the Mt Eden shopping village. Working together in our teenage years in Manchester Warehouse again in the late 60's and late 70's in the shipping and freight business where you reached the pinnacle of your career. I look back in thanks for the great times we shared at the Crystal Palace and the Orange Dance Halls, the Saturday night warm up sessions at the late Edna and Ernie's at 3 Ashton Rd with your late brothers Fred, Dave and Pat. I am going to miss our birthday and Christmas phone calls. Bob, I am sorry I can't be with you on your final farewell because of my own circumstances but my thoughts will be with you and all the family. God bless Ron.
