Georgia Northwestern Technical College is accepting applications throughout the year for part time Computer Information Systems (CIS)tutoring positions at all campus locations.Tutor scheduling will be based on enrollment and activity of the individual campus tutoring lab and days/times may vary. Applicants should specify in letter of application on which campus(es) they are willing to work and what schedule they are willing to work: mornings or afternoons.
Required Qualifications: An Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university. Documented successful completion of degree level college Computer Information Systems courses with a grade of B or better. Computer skills must include MS Office 2013 Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), Windows 7, as well as be able to provide proficient help with the other fundamental CIS classes.Excellent organizational, communication, management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to be flexible in working conditions and schedule.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degreeor higher in Computer Information Systems. Tutoring and/or teaching experience. Experience with online learning management systems.
