JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Location:Arrow Mill, Queensway, Rochdale, OL11 2YW

Responsible to:Head of Partnerships and Training

Job Hours:22.5 hours

Pay:NJC Pt 18 – 21, actual pay £10,989

Job Purpose:To work with the Head of Partnerships & Training, and in association with the Office Manager, to provide the administrative support necessary for Pace’s parent liaison team and training operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  1. To provide administrative support to the national training programme, which includes the responsibility of all external training events.
  1. To ensure Office Manager is kept informed of all external training events to enable payments and invoicing to be kept up to date.
  1. To liaise with the Office Manager in maintaining office systems at Rochdale, including ordering of stationery, office equipment, refreshments and ancillaries.
  1. To assist where applicable with Pace’s civi CRM record keeping.
  1. To assist with the maintenance of the manual and electronic filing system in the Rochdale office.
  1. To carry out other tasks deemed necessary in the everyday running of the Rochdale office.

Other Duties

  1. To participate in individual supervision, training and appraisal as agreed with the Head of Partnerships and Training.
  1. To carry out all of the above in accordance with the aims, values and policies of Pace.
  1. To be flexible and able to work outside of normal scheduled hours when the need arises, i.e. Pace events etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential / Desirable
Experience /
  • 2 years’ minimum experience of general office administration with proven efficiency.
  • Understanding and able to use competently Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Working on a cloud service system

  • Database inputting on a CRM system
  • Event preparation, from start to finish.
  • Numeracy skills for accounting procedures
