(3)Kelvin is recommending that the board choose to include the study group at no charge to managers

(a)The board voted to provide the course at no charge but to look for business partner and management company sponsors.

(b)Offering sponsorship to business partners and management companies at $250.

ix)Education Committee Meeting is scheduled for April 1 in San Ramon at 2400 Camino Ramon, Suite 158, Meeting Room K, San Ramon, CA 94583 from 10am – Noon.

x)Annual Education Conference – September 18th at the San Ramon Marriott – “TV Game Hosts”

b)Networking & Social Events

i)Ladies Tea, March 31st - The Palm Event Center Betina Schessow (Chair) - Sold out!

ii)Golf Classic, June 12th - Bridges Golf Club, San Ramon Mandi Newton (Chair) - Invitation to go out next week

(1)CA North Golf Committee has requested Betina to check with the board to see if they can market the event earlier.

iv)Meet the Manager, Toni Rodrigues, Brian Hunt and Terri Guest are the Committee Volunteers, Friday, May 29th at the San Ramon Marriott.

c)National Conference - April 29 - May 2, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas - register for hotel rooms by March 28 or you may not get a room.

d)2015 Sustaining sponsorship results – over $160K

e)Date for the CAVL meeting in San Mateo County?

i)Kelvin, Joanne and Alex to work on the content and the best topics to present

ii)Joanne to work with the county stakeholders to determine the date

iii)We need at least 90 days in advance

f)Board Retreat – Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30

i)Kelvin to send out commitment emails to the board

a)Strategic Planning Minutes

i)Fundraising for CLAC – 5% of the networking event profits to go towards

ii)Determine education topics for 2016 in August 2015

iii)Overhaul of Chapter Website

iv)Distribute The Communicator – part of the conversation with the County in conjunction with the CAVL meetings
