CourseLeaf Curriculum Proposal System
Plan for CourseLeafCurriculum Training*:
The Office of the Provost will provide one or more CourseLeafcurriculum training sessions during the August 2015 orientation week. Upon request, additional training sessions can be offered prior to the August orientation week (contact Becky Pfeifer in the Provost’s Office to inquire). Training will be offered for the following:
One CourseLeaf (curriculum) expert in each department, and all personnel in the CourseLeaf CIM workflow, including:
- One curriculum faculty leader in each department
- Academic department associates (optional, per preference of each department)
- Department chairs
- College curriculum committee members (including graduate committees)
- Deans and/or designees
- Chairs of GERC, the Diversity Committee, the International Education Committee
- Honors director
- CGE designee
- UCC members and associate members
- Graduate Council chair and members
- Faculty Senate chair and members
Plan for notifying campus about the exclusive use of CourseLeaf for curriculum actions*:
Beginning June 1, the downloadable paper curriculum forms will be removed from the Curriculum website and all curricular actions will then need to be submitted using the CourseLeaf system. Notification will proceed as follows:
- An announcement will be sent to the Academic Affairs Staff (includes all deans) by April 21.
- A notice will be posted to the Curriculum website by April 24.
- The AVC will send a notice to Faculty Senate and to the Graduate Council by April 24.
- UCC members will share the announcement with their respective CCC committees at their next opportunity, asking all CCC members to notify their respective departments.
- Assistant/Associate Deans will notify members of their Administrative Councils at their next opportunity.

By June 1, all faculty members and people in the workflow will be entered as authorized users for CourseLeaf. ADAs, instructional academic staff and others can be added on request (to Becky Pfeifer). The faculty user list will be refreshed every August and January.
