Job Summary
The Individual Giving Fundraiser will be responsible for all of Henshaws’ Individual giving programme including the rapidly growing lottery and all direct mail appeals. They will also play a key role in developing donor journeys for our existing and new supporters ensuring that donors feel valued and informed about the impact they are making.
Key responsibilities
· To successfully manage and develop Henshaws Lottery and individual giving programmes to achieve sustainable income for the charity
· To ensure relationships with supporters are managed to the highest professional standards, ensuring their continued support and engagement
· To implement donor journeys for all individual supporters e.g. regular givers, lottery players
· To work with colleagues throughout the organisation to identify and approach key stakeholder groups close to the organisation e.g. service users, families and friends
· To manage all direct mail appeals and other mailings, helping to co-ordinate all activity and responses
· To work with the marketing team to develop the digital aspects of the individual giving campaigns
· To ensure that the expenditure of the individual giving campaigns is effectively managed and responsibly spent
· To evaluate all campaigns and prepare reports and recommendations for the future of individual giving
· To work with the Individual Giving Manager to develop strategic plans and multi-year budgets which aim to grow the income from individual giving campaigns
· To record all information on Donorflex and ensure it is updated on a regular basis
· To gain and maintain an understanding of the charity’s work, priorities and future plans
· To be an active and supportive member of the Fundraising and wider Henshaws team, contributing to the team’s development and working collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers
