Getsome Products Extended Warranty
Getsome Products LLC, the manufacturer of BATTERYADE Battery Additive, will provide an additional battery warranty equal to the battery manufacturer’s full replacement warranty, or for a period of up to 15 months.
A. The extended warranty applies only to new lead-acid batteries manufactured by a recognized and qualified manufacturer of batteries. This warranty does not apply to used batteries, reconditioned, recycled lead-acid batteries, or batteries made from used, reconditioned, or recycled materials. This warranty will only apply to a battery that is determined by the battery manufacturer to be the correct one for the particular situation which it is to be used. Using an undersized battery in any given situation will void this warranty.
B. This extended warranty period will begin immediately upon expiration of the battery manufacturer’s full replacement warranty, and will be subject to the same conditions of use as that of the battery manufacturer. The extended warranty period will be for the same length of time as that of the original battery manufacturer’s warranty or for a period of up to 15 months. For example, if the battery manufacturer’s full replacement warranty is 6 months; this warranty will provide 8 months additional full replacement warranty. If the battery manufacturer’s full replacement warranty is 12 months or more; this warranty will provide 15 months additional full replacement warranty.
C. BATTERYADE Battery Additive must be added to a battery in the correct amounts as stated in the directions, based on the dosage chart (on bottle or website), within 14 days from the date of the new battery being purchased. The warranty application form must be completed in full and signed by the purchaser of the battery. The warranty application form must be received by the manufacturer or agent no later than 21 days from the purchase date of the battery for the warranty to be valid.
D. Any disputes arising out of a claim under this warranty, can be subject to the battery being examined by an independent qualified body. The costs incurred by such an examination are the claimant’s responsibility.
E. Any claims arising from this warranty must be in writing and must reach the agent no later than 21 days from the date of the battery failure. Any claims received after this time will not be recognized.
F. Provided that the above conditions have been met and that the claim is not in dispute, any battery failing during the extended warranty period will be replaced as soon as practically possible, given credit for, or arrangements made for the claimant to receive a new battery similar in capacity, warranty and quality from the agent. The agent in the country of purchase retains the right of selection of the brand of the replacement battery.
G. This warranty does not extend to cover batteries used for Military or Defense purposes, or batteries used in fixed or rotary wing aircraft that are used for hire, business, charter, or commercial aviation or for other than private use.
F. The extended warranty only applies to the 4 oz size of BATTERYADE Battery Additive. The 16oz, 32oz, 1 Gallon, and 5 Gallon containers of BATTERYADE Battery Additive are NOTCOVEREDby this warranty.
H. All BATTERYADE Battery Additive warranty application forms and any claims are to be sent to the agent for the country where the BATTERYADEBattery Additive was purchased.
Fill out the warranty application form on the next page, and mail it in with a copy of the receipt of purchase for the new battery and BATTERYADE Battery Additive(if purchase separately).
