TREASURER’S REPORT: $7,862.09 in the treasury.
SECRETARY’S REPORT: Minutes were accepted.
RAFFLE REPORT: Septembers meeting’s raffle brought in $167 plus an additional $161 in the donation jar for a grand total of $328 for the JBT Project. Thank you to everyone who donates items for the raffle and who put money in the donation jar & of course those that just donate! Truly appreciated!

CORRESPONDENCE: We received a request for and voted to donate $100 to RayTana and Associates 9th annual toy and food drive car show. Show is on November 1.
John Lewis received correspondence from Infineon Raceway indicating they would be attempting to move our Sonoma Nationals seats up a few rows where there are larger seats with armrests and cup holders. They will do this when renewals begin.
John Lewis received an email from Marc Power after John informed him that he was voted an honorary Jugger. He wrote,” How awesome, John. Love you guys.”
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Safety Committee – There were no NHRA rule amendments for classes for classes raced by Juggers. Go to the safety section of the web site www.juggersracingteam.com and look for rule amendments for the details. Remember, the ultimate authority on any of this is the NHRA and your local sanctioning body. Any questions that remain should be addressed directly to them for the final word. If you have any safety questions you can contact John Lewis at . John will always have the rule book at the monthly meeting.
Website Committee – If you have an idea on a picture for the front of the website, please let John know. Otherwise, we will continue to use the group shot from the 60th Anniversary Picnic. We need Bonneville car and Picnic photos to update the site. Tom Finale the photographer will be taking over the Member’s Cars area of the site, and the other Tom Finale will be updating the Calendar section. Historian Committee – If you have any old pictures, articles, papersor other information regarding the Juggers Racing Team, please contact Sandy so she can arrange to scan the items and get them back to you as quickly as possible! Contact Sandy at408-888-0643
Picnic Committee –Steve O’Brien headed up the committee again this year. We had reserved Huddart Park for the picnic on October 4th. The picnic was a success and everyone had a great time. Steve is attempting to schedule a follow up committee meeting to review what went great and what might be improved next year. Please contact Steve if you have any information from the picnic you would like to share @
Car Show Committee – The third annual Juggers/Gotelli’s car show was great. 15 cars was a better attendance than last year, but we need to do better next year. Great food, thanks to Ted and all at Gotelli’s. We presented Ted Gotelli with a 20 x 30 metal version of Mike Talcott’s car show poster, which will hang in the shop. Go there and see it.
JBT Committee – JBT work parties are normally held at Wayn Phillips house on Tuesday evenings at 6pm and now every Thursday as well (when we don’t have a monthly meeting). The JBT account is currently at $2,117. We are hoping to be able to race in November at El Mirage. Needed: Tires – Goodyear Front Runners 22 x 4.5 x 15, 9,000 or 10,000 RPM Tack; Timing cover for a small block chevy-for a fuel pump drive; Edelbrock Victor Intake Manifold, either:#2900 ($339) OR #2978 ($279) OR #2975 ($254).
