Entry Information
Eligibility: This tournament is open only to archers who are existing members of ArcheryGB or another World Archery member association.Proof of membership will be requested at the tournament, no proof no entry.
Drug Testing: This is a UK and World Record Status tournament. You might be liable for drug testing, and competitors approached to give samples must comply. If you refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Entries from archers under the age of 18 must be signed by a parent/guardian to signify consent to their child being drug tested.
Age Groups: World Archery - 4.2 Classes
4.2.3 An athlete may participate in a Cadet Class in tournaments when the competition takes place up to and in the year of his 17th birthday.
4.2.4. An athlete may participate in a Junior Class in tournaments when the competition takes place up to and in the year of his 20th birthday.

Entries can only be accepted if they include adequate contact details, the archers AGB number, the archer’s signature (plus parent/guardian’s signature for juniors) and full payment. Equipment Inspection: This is a World Record Status tournament, archers equipment will be subject to an equipment inspection. Archers are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure that the equipment they use complies with the relevant set of rules.Targets: All target will be Tenzone layered foam. Each target will have dual LED downlights.
Target Faces: All sighted bows will shot on 40cm 6 zone vertical triple spot faces. Unsighted bows will use a single 40cm 10 zone face. Each archer will have their own face with 4 archers/boss shooting in 2 details.
Timing: Archers will shot 3 arrows in 2 minutes. Timing will be by use of the Chronotir visual and audible timing system.
Practice: Archers will be allowed two ends or practice at the start of each session.
Awards: Awards are subject to entry, no session awards. Your best score of the day will be taken for overall awards. All scores including double round scores will be published and supplied to Archery GB and the Archery GB performance unit. Ashford Archers reserve the right to combine cadet boys and girls into one award as well as juniors and seniors and bow styles as necessary.
Dress Code: ArcheryGB dress regulations will apply. Archers not conforming to rule 307 will not be eligible for awards. If you are in any doubt please contact us at . You are requested to observe the dress code until after the presentation of awards.
Shooting Aids: Archers using a wheelchair or stool that remain on the line please tick the box on the form so that this can be accommodated.
Back Stop: The backstop is a brick wall.
Lighting: Main hall lighting is white strip fluorescent. Each boss will have a two headed LED downlight.

Parking: There is ample free parking but please park considerately and do not leave your car on any roadway. Please observe the bays marked for disabled badge holders.
Smoking: No smoking is permitted, including the use of e-cigarettes or vaping devices, anywhere within the buildings or the grounds of Homewood School & Sixth form centre.
Photography: To comply with the ArcheryGB Policy for “Safeguarding Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults”, any person wishing to pursue any form of photography for any purpose is required to report to the tournament organiser before starting and to comply with any conditions given.
Archers under 18: All competitors under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent, guardian or other nominated responsible adult at all times.
Privacy Policy: Personal information supplied by you on the entry form will only be used for the purposes of this tournament, unless you indicate to the contrary.
No information will be disclosed to third parties, except as required by law.
