1. Purpose:
To define inbound pallet requirements for suppliers of direct and indirect materials.
2. Scope:
This policy applies to all inbound materials to all Bradford Soap Works facilities.
3. Responsibilities:
3.1 It is the responsibility of the Supply Chain Operations Department to ensure communication of this Policy to all direct and indirect sources of supply.
3.2 It is the responsibility of Bradford Soap Works suppliers to understand and adhere to the policy.

5. Policy:
5.1 Unless specifically noted or requested by Bradford Soap Works, Any materials being supplied to Bradford Soap Works facilities, or any pallets sold to Bradford Soap Works will be free of Tribromophenol (TBP) / Tribromoanisol (TBA) and any other form of phenol based fungicide treatment.
5.2 Any materials being supplied to Bradford Soap Works on heat treated pallets (HT) will conform to and carry a stamp per the ISPM-15.
5.3 Methyl Bromide (MB) is not permitted, at any time, as an alternative to Heat Treatment of pallets.
5.4 Pallets may be remanufactured, however all pallets must conform to the requirements in sections 5.1-5.3.
5.5 All suppliers will conduct audits of their facilities to ensure there is no possibility of chemically treated pallets being sent to Bradford Soap Works, nor the possibility of cross contamination of any product containing Tribromophenol (TBP) / Tribromoanisol (TBA) and any other form of phenol based fungicide.
5.6 Pallets sent to Bradford Soap Works locations must not be built with Ash wood.

7. Records:
7.1 Suppliers are required to communicate back to Bradford (to a Buyer or the Director of Supply Chain) in writing immediately if they can not comply including providing details of any non-compliance. If no communication from the supplier is received by Bradford then the supplier is confirming their full compliance to this policy.
