Dear Prospective Participant,

After last year’s sold out success of A Chocolate Affair, a dessert competition and celebration benefiting Covenant Hospice, we’re please to return for a fourth year and we want your help! This year’s event will take place Saturday, March 9th at the TallahasseeAutomobileMuseum from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. We are inviting all area bakeries, restaurants, and caterers to showcase their signature desserts and compete for a year’s worth of bragging rights. A “People’s Choice” award will be voted on by guests as well as first, second and third place winners by a panel of local judges. Last year, A Chocolate Affair drew more than 350 guests, and we anticipate growing again this year.

We ask that you provide 300 bite-size samples of your signature dessert and a staff member to operate your station throughout the evening. If you are unable to provide a staff member that evening, one of our volunteers will be glad to present your creation to our guests. Please feel free to decorate your table however you wish and be sure to include promotional materials for guests to take home with them. Remember, this will be right before Easter and a wonderful opportunity for you to show off festive treats. Also, by confirming your spot early, we will be able to include your business logo in our pre-event print collateral.

Desserts must be an original recipe made by you or your business but does not have to be chocolate. Store-bought merchandise will be disqualified. Set up for participants will begin at 3:00 pm and clean up will begin shortly after the event has ended.
