Each year we manage over four million aircraft movements carrying more than 140 million passengers, and provide air navigation services across 11 per cent of the world’s airspace.

Airservices has two major operating centres in Melbourne and Brisbane and a corporate office in Canberra. We operate 29 air traffic control towers at international and regional airports, and provide aviation rescue firefighting services at 26 Australian airports.

Our technology enables our people to cost effectively and efficiently deliver the services to our customers. The Applications Services unit in collaboration with the other elements of the IM&T team, designs, deliver, and maintains software applications to meet the requirements of the business.

Primary Purpose of Position

As SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant you will be part of ASA’s IM&T team is responsible to engage around the enhancing BAU capability, the end to end process, the configuration and the impact changes to business processes has on the system. You will also attend to day to day support issues in SAP PM in general, assist with any complex issues and use your problem solving skills where required.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Position Specific

  • 8+ years of functional experience across SAP PM/MM
  • Design & Configuration experience with PM/MM
  • Experience in SAP- GWOS is a must.
  • Knowledge of SRM is an added plus.
  • Excellent business process knowledge
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of the business
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ensure adoption of Best-practices during Project Management

People

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with other Airservices staff to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives
  • Contribute to a high-performance team that has an emphasis on creating an accountable performance culture
  • Provide effective management of all IM&T Vendors driving value through continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all staff associated with this function compliance, Systems and Reporting
  • Ensure Strategic Partner Management process documentation and reporting requirements are followed

  • Ability to liaise with auditors effectively
