Description:Spent hours downloading Linux operating systems for the server. Operating systems such as: Mandrivia, LinuxMint, ReactOS, CENTOS, Ubuntu, ArchLinux and many more.
Lessons Learned: Took a long time but enjoyed reading about each OS on websites.

Description:Spent a few more hours downloading other unique Linux operating systems. Read patch notes and reviews for each of the new 11 operating systems.
Lessons Learned:Feels like I’ve exhausted enough time on VMS, but great to know there are so many more.

Week 4:
Task: Figure out what is wrong with the network connectivity
Description:Brought in a networking student and we all tried to figure out what is the issue with our server and interfaces, and why it would not connect.
Lessons Learned:One router seemed to not give connectivity, so we removed it and hardwired into Ethernet, it worked then.

Task: Researching MariaDB
Description:The database system we will be using for our implementation
Lessons Learned:Great to know that it is very connected with MYSQL and they both do super updates together so they are both interconnected and relative to each other.

Description:Since our capstone will be completed in a few weeks, I’m looking at completely handling the technical documentation for our capstone so I did some research on what it should look like.
Lessons Learned: Just read through the documentation provided on the SAIT D2L, and other examples posted online.

Task: Started research into PayPal sandbox mode.
Description:Looking into and testing the mock paypal system available on sandbox.paypal.com
Lessons Learned: Made a few accounts and started to test them at home before we begin to implement the payment system within our capstone project. Very neat and never knew the great stuff we could do with it.
