Dear <client name>,

I hope that you and your family are well and have enjoyed a good start to 2016.

As an existing client of mine, you will already know that I offer a wide range of services including Will writing, financial advice and estate planning. These are just some of the ways that I can assist you and your family to plan sensibly for the future and ensure that your assets are managed in the most efficient way possible.

I want to help my clients in as many ways as I possibly can and with this in mind I have recently qualified as an appointed representative of Kings Court Trust, one of the UK’s leading estate administration specialists. This means that I can now offer a market leading estate administration service to you and your family.

What is estate administration?

Unfortunately, we are all likely to experience the loss of a loved one at some point during our lives. Dealing with this bereavement can be a highly emotional and stressful process, with many people not realising the amount of important work that needs to be done after someone has passed away.

One such task is to administer the estate of the person who has died. This involves identifying all of their assets (such as property, savings and investments) and any liabilities (things like mortgages or credit card bills). These will all need to be dealt with so that whatever is left can be distributed to the people named in the person’s Will, known as the beneficiaries.

Each estate is different but some of the work that will probably need to be completed includes:

·  Collating and valuing any assets, including property, possessions and investments

·  Settling any liabilities such as mortgages and loans

·  Dealing with any tax implications and the subsequent HMRC paperwork

·  Managing the legal process of administering the estate

How I can help you and your family

As an appointed representative of Kings Court Trust, I can now offer you access to their comprehensive estate administration service. As a specialist in this area, they will deal with all of the legal and tax work on your behalf and keep you up to date with the progress that they are making. Their service is also offered with a guaranteed fixed price which is agreed up front, so that you don’t need to worry about the possibility of escalating legal fees.

Quite understandably, you may not have thought about what will need to be done with your estate once you’ve gone. However, thinking ahead and having a plan in place can reduce the burden on your family when the time comes. If you would like to find out more about estate administration and how I can help support you and your family, please contact me on <number> or <email>.

Yours sincerely,
