INVOLVED IN OVER A DOZEN CASES OF MURDER / KIDNAPPING/ ATTEMPT TO MURDER.

WANTED IN A SENSATIONAL CASE OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER REGISTERED AT PS GURGAONCITY.

DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN A CASE OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER OF PS DELHI CANTT.

ARREST WARRANTS ISSUED AGAINST HIM BY A GURGAON COURT IN TWO CASES OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER.

CASH REWARD OF Rs. 25,000/- DECLARED ON HIS ARREST BY GURGAON POLICE.

INTRODUCTION:-

Crime Branch has apprehended one notorious/desperate murderer/kidnapper namely Ravi Kumar (32 years) s/o Gyan Chand r/o 8/263, Mehram Nagar, New Delhi who was wanted in a sensational case of attempt to murder of PS City, Gurgaon, Haryana. The accused Ravi was on run after the incident and was declared Proclaimed offender in the case. A reward of Rs. 25,000/- has been declared on the arrest of accused by Gurgaon Police.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-

Ravi is a desperate criminal and he is previously involved in several heinous crimes. He alongwith Sandeep Ghadoli, Shoukee and others had made an attempt on the life of one Annu r/o Gurgaon, Haryana. His associates namely Shoukee, Pankaj, Johnny etc. were arrested in the case whereas Ravi was absconding and cash reward of Rs.25,000/- has been declared on his arrest.

HC Santraj Singh was deputed to collect and develop the information about Ravi Kumar and his gang members. He made efforts in this regard and finally his efforts bore fruits when specific information was received on 15.04.2014 that accused Ravi Kumar would come from Agra to Delhi via DND flyover in a white Scorpio car No.HR13-8998. A team led by Inspr Kuldeep Singh and comprising of SIs PC Yadav, Sandeep, Ravinder, HCs Santraj, Narender, Kartar, Yatender, Vikal, Cts Naresh, Ravi, Brijesh, Davinder and Suresh was constituted under the close supervision of ACP KPS Malhotra and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh to nab him.

On the basis of the above inputs, a trap was laid in Maharani Bagh near DND flyover. One Scorpio car bearing No.HR13-8998 was spotted coming from DND Flyover side. The car was signaled to stop but sensing the presence of Police team, the car driver tried to escape from there. However, the police team intercepted the car in a swift operation.

PROFILE:-

Accused Ravi Kumar (32 Years) s/o Gyan Chand r/o 8/263, Mehram Nagar, New Delhi has studied upto 10th standard from a government school. His father runs a general store in Mehram Nagar, Delhi. He has one brother and two sisters. He was not good at studies so he took up further studies upto 12th class from NationalOpenSchool.

In the year 2002, he alongwith his associates Amit Sangwan, Omender, Mohit and Nishu had made an attempt to murder on Shiv Charan Pradhan of village Mehram Nagar. A case was registered at PS Delhi Cantt. in this regard and Ravi was arrested.

After coming out on bail, he alongwith his associates namely Amit Sangwan and Sunil Rana had made an attempt to murder on a rival of Amit. A case was registered at PS Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon in this regard and Ravi was arrested. After getting bail, he alongwith Rishi, Kuldeep and Manoj @ Moni committed murder of owner of the Green Chick Hotel, Gurgaon and he was arrested in the case.

Thereafter, he alongwith his associate Jyoti Prakash committed yet another murder in the area of Gurgaon. After coming out on bail, he alongwith Naveen made an attempt to murder on one bookie in the area of Police Post Ajrun Nagar, Sector-10, Gurgaon, Haryana. Thereafter, he alongwith Manoj @ Moni, Kuldeep, Sumit, Vicky etc fired upon one magazine owner at Gurgaon as he refused to pay the protection money. A case of attempt to murder was registered at Sector-10, Gurgaon and he was arrested.

Thereafter, he alongwith Ramesh, Satish and Rakesh abducted a person following a road rage. A case was registered at PS Dabri. In year 2007, he was arrested by Spl Cell, Delhi for possessing illicit firearms. In year 2008, while running in Bhondsi Jail, he caused rioting in the jail and was arrested in the case. Thereafter, he alongwith Mahender abducted one Gupta @ Fukra and threatened him of life. A case was registered at Police Station Delhi Cantt. and he was arrested in the case. Ravi was not appearing in the cases pending against him in Court.

While Ravi was in Bhondsi Jail, he came into contact with gangster Sandeep Ghadoli and after coming out on bail, he joined Sandeep Ghadoli gang. He became close to Sandeep Ghadoliand became key the shooter of this gang. In the year 2014, he alongwith Sandeep Ghadoli and others attempted to commit murder of one Annu Gujjar r/o Gurgaon, Haryana. After this incident, Raviwas absconding and he has been declared proclaimed offender by a Gurgaon Court. Cash reward Rs. 25,000/- has also been declared on his arrest by the Gurgaon Police.

Accused has been arrested as per law and the concerned police stations have been informed accordingly.

EMPLOYEE FAKING ROBBERY ARRESTED WITH ACCOMPLICE: FULL RECOVERY MADE

With the arrest of Amit Kumar s/o Sh. Suraj Pal and Ajay @ Sagar s/o Sh. Ram Bahadur Singh, the Police of P.S.Kotwali has solved a case of fake robbery ploy and recovered Rs 5,00,000/-.

INCIDENT:-

On 22/04/14, one Rajesh Kumar s/o Sh. Ram Niwas Singla r/o H-5/52, Sec-11, Rohini, Delhi reported that he is dealing with the business of scrap trading in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. One of his employee Amit Kumar s/o Sh. Suraj Pal, who is working at his shop since last 6 months, whose main job is to collect money from the different clients. On 22/04/14, at about 3 PM, Amit Kumar was sent to Kalyani Aluminium, Shop No.3, Paharganj to collect Rs 5, 00,000/- on a scooty no.DL-11SD-7074. At about 4.30 PM, Amit informed the owner Rajesh that 04 unknown persons, riding on a Santro car had intercepted him at Subhash marg cut, opposite Red Fort and snatched Rs 5,00,000/- , his mobile phone and the scooty and fled away towards Dariya Ganj. On this, Mr. Rajesh rushed to the spot and verified the facts from the local persons present at spot. But none of them supported the version of Amit Kumar. So suspecting the story to be a false one he took Amit to P.P.Red Fort and made this complaint. On this, a case FIR No. 322/14, U/s 408 IPC was registered at P.S.Kotwali and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION:-

A team comprising of SI Ramesh Prasad Singh I/C PP Red Fort, ASI Yogender , ASI Jagdish, HC Harphool 1041/N, Ct Anil Bhati, Ct Suresh 1303/N, was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Pramod Gupta, SHO/Kotwali under the overall supervision of Sh. Sagar Singh Kalsi (IPS) ACP/Kotwali. One team was sent to collect the information and scientific evidences, if any, on the said scene of crime, while other team interrogated Amit Kumar at length. During sustained and tactful interrogation, the accused Amit Kumar broke down.

INTERROGATION :-

During interrogation, accused Amit Kumar confessed that he was working at Mahalaxmi metal scrap, Kodiya Pul, for last 6-7 months. His sister's marriage was scheduled to be held in July, 2014. So, he is desperate in need of money. And he made a plan with his friend Ajay @ Sagar to misappropriate the money of his owner and thus made this concocted story. According to the plan, he called Ajay @ Sagar at Dariya Ganj and handed over him Rs 5,00,000/-, mobile phone and scooty with the instruction that he would park the scooty somewhere and keep the bag in his house. Eventually, on the instance of Amit, the co-accused Ajay @ Sagar was arrested and Rs 5,00,000/-, the said mobile phone and scooty has been recovered.

The staff of PS Uttam Nagar, West District along with staff Anti Snatching Cell/West District has arrested one notorious criminal Md. Saddam @ Md. Gauri and a country made pistol, 2 live cartridges have been recovered from his instance.

NAME & PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED ARRESTED

Md Saddam @ Md Gauri S/o Md Bhura R/o Flat No. 58, Chander Vihar, Main Road, NilothiVillage, Delhi, age 23 years. He is originally resident of Village Satla PS Mawana District Meerut UP. He is uneducated. His father and brother used to sell clothes in a colony but accused came in the contact of bad elements and he procured country made pistol with the help of his friends.

RECOVERY

One Country made pistol with two live cartridges.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

On 22/04/2014 at about 10:30 PM a secret information was received to ASI Deepender No. 2524/W of Anti Snatching Cell/WD that a notorious criminal (involved in the attempt to murder) Md Saddam @ Md Gauri would come in staff quarter, Jail road Tihar who has also having illegal weapon in his possession. On this, information was shared with SHO Uttam Nagar. Immediately, a raiding party was organized under the leadership of SI Govind Singh consisting ASI Deepender No. 2524/W HC Ravinder No. 1750/W, Ct. Diwan No. 645/W, Ct. Ajay No.1399/W and Ct. Hari Prakash No.2337/W under the close supervision of Insp. Bhagwan Singh SHO/Uttam Nagar. On pointing out of informer Md Saddam @ Md Gauri, who was coming on motorcycle was apprehended near Staff quarter Jail Road Tihar and from his personal search a country made pistol (Katta) .315 bore and two live cartridges were recovered. He was arrested in FIR No.321/14 dated 30/03/13 u/s 307/34 IPC & 25Arms Act, PS Uttam Nagar Delhi.

INTERROGATION

During sustained interrogation, he disclosed that on 29/3/2014 he along with Azad and other associates came to Safeda Park Hastsal village fired a shot upon Heera S/o Sarvjeet Singh. He is the active and desperate criminal. Investigation is in progress to ascertain the source of supply.

The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

INTRODUCTION:-

With apprehension of three juveniles, Anti Auto Theft Squad of South East Distt. has successfully solved a case of sensational robberyand recovered robbed mobile phone and weapon of offence i.e. Knife.

INCIDENT: -

On 18.04.14, Mr. Awadesh Kumar s/o Tukaman r/o Rajbir Ka Makan,Sapera Gali,Aali Gaon,New Delhiwas returning to his home after completing his duty. He was intercepted at the rear lane of TATA Steel, near railway line, OIA Phase-I, New Delhi by three persons armed with knife. The trio robbed him after seriously injuring him and decamped with his mobile phone and cash. The victim had to be admitted in Trauma Centre,AIIMS, where he is still recuperating.

INFORMATION AND TEAM:-

A team of AATS/SED comprising of SI Satendra Khari,SI P.L.Katewa, SI Anand Prakash,HC Neeraj,HC Pravir,Ct. Raghuvender,Ct. Kuldeep,Ct. Varun and Ct. Joginder headed by Insp Mukesh Kumar,I/C, AATS/SED under the close supervision of Sh. Ashok Saroha ACP/OPS/SED was constituted to crack the case.

During investigation sources were deployed to identify and trace the accused. Many Jail released persons were scrutinized and criminals with previous involvements were interrogated at length.Finally on 21.04.14, on the basis of specific information, the above mentioned team apprehended three juveniles from the area of P.S Okhla Industrial Area,New Delhi and weapon of offence and case property was recovered within two days of the incident.

Train Robbery worked out; Gang of robbers arrested.

With the arrest of Sanjit Gupta @ Sanjay s/o Satyanarayan Gupta age 24 years r/o Jhuggi Peeli Kothi, DRP Line, and Karan @ Chanchi s/o Sunil age 22 years r/o Jhuggi Peeli KothiGRP, Delhi Police has busted a gang of robbers operating in the moving trains.

Incident

On the night of 17.04.14, complainant Sh. Sarvan Kumar s/o Sugandh Singh r/o H. No. 99, Gali No. 7, Gautam Colony, Narela, Delhi reported that he was travelling by Punjab Mail train. When the train crossed Sadar Bazar Railway Station, four boys boarded the train and snatched his Samsung mobile phone, Titan wrist watch and cash Rs. 4000/- and started running. The complainant started chasing them and tried to catch one of them when they were climbing a wall. On this the accused persons hit him with stone on his head, injured him badly and managed to flee away.Accordingly a case FIR No. 115/14 u/s 392/394/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Old Delhi Railway Station and investigation was taken up.

Team

A team was constituted in the supervision of Insp. Udaiveer Singh SHO/ODRS and SI Rajender Dabas, HC Sanjeev Kumar and Ct. Vijay Pal under the supervision of ACP/Railway Sh. Sehdev Singh to work out the case.

Investigation

The team worked on the available clues. After sincere efforts the team managed to apprehend the accused persons. The arrested persons disclosed that they were earlier doing jobs at shops at Pul Mithai but they were not able to earn enough to meet the expenses of their lavish lifestyle. They formed a gang and started snatching and robberies in the trains. Sajit Gupta is earlier involved in 3 criminal cases.They have disclosed the names of their associates Ajay and Vikram.Efforts are on to arrest the remaining associates and further investigation is in progress.
