Monday, February 24

8:30 – 11:00 Arrive anytime between 8:30 – 11:00 check in with Pam Callan, department secretary (Dance Office, Hartwell 141)

8:00 – 11:00 Welcome to observe, no participation required History and Development of Dance with Karl Rogers (Hartwell 142)

11:15 – 12:00 Meet as a group with Graduate Committee (Hartwell 142)

Mariah Maloney Graduate Director, William Evans, Karl Rogers, Juanita Suarez and other faculty

12:15-12:55 Individual interviews with Mariah Maloney, Graduate Director, and other members of the Graduate Committee: William Evans, Karl Rogers and Juanita Suarez (appointments TBA see list at dance office at 12:15)

1:00 – 1:45 Tour of facilities and lunch with graduate students

1:45 - 2:30 Box lunch (Kitchen Hartwell 148)

2:30 - 3:30 Writing Assessment (Hartwell 142)

Karl Rogers administers and collects

4:00 – 4:30 Showing of graduate choreography (Moderator: second year MFA, Allison Bohman, Hartwell Dance Theatre)

Choreographers: Current graduate students

6:00 - 10:00 Dinner on your own

6:30 – 8:00 Recommended not required: Opportunity to observe

9:00 – 11:00 Rehearsal/warm up space available (Hartwell Studio 229)

9:30 – 11:00 Observe Modern Dance Technique classes

9:30 – 10:45 Irish Dance with Edward Murphy (Hartwell Studio 64)

11:15 - 12:45 Participate in Modern Dance class as technique audition
