TITLE: POLICY SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: AVP – OPERATIONS

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Policy Services Administrator is an administrative support position. The primary role of the Policy Services Administrator is to assist both our Policy Services and Claims teams in a variety of support and technical functions. The Policy Services Administrator is required to actively assist the Policy Services Administrative Team in the preparation and scanning of documents and faxes for imaging. Imaged documents are then indexed for electronic routing into the company’s workflows. This requires knowledge of CompSupport, Guidewire, Captiva and BPM. The ability to analyze these workflows and indexing functions for efficiency is a plus. The Policy Services Administrator must be able to articulate both orally and in written communication, how the indexing function works for both Policy Services Admin and Claims, and translate its importance to the company’s long-term goals and objectives. This position includes other administrative support activities such as preparing department schedules for indexing and phone teams, training, team work-flow analysis and other support assigned and deemed necessary by the Administrative and Claims Teams. This role also includes project support, phone coverage, fax retrieval and back-up of certain Administrative and Claims Team tasks. A background in claims admin and assistance is preferred. This position is task-oriented, and requires focus, intent listening and particular attention to detail. This position can involve a variety of administrative tasks, as well as other duties assigned and deemed necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Assisting in the processing of incoming mail and faxes.
·  Sorting and preparing documents for scanning.
·  Indexing imaged documents.
·  Providing administrative support as assigned by P/S & Claims.
·  Coordinating & conducting training. / ·  Assisting in development of procedures.
·  Assuming a leadership role in administration.
·  Monitoring workflow & striving to improve department efficiency.
·  Providing back-up of select .administrative and claims team functions.
·  Administrative tasks as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·  Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

·  Claims knowledge preferred

·  Computer literate (CompSupport, Guidewire, Captiva, BPM)

·  Capability to create & revise documents using MS Word and Excel

·  Detail-oriented and reliable

·  Ability to excel in a high-volume environment

·  Light to moderate lifting is required

·  Three years of related administrative support experience
