During the fortnight of bad weather (2 February to 13 February) the press office dealt with 309 press enquiries, as follows:

Hertfordshire Highways 125 enquiries 40.45% of Total

Children, Schools & Families 80 enquiries 25.89% of Total

Fire and Rescue 50 enquiries 16.18% of Total

Environment 14 enquiries 4.53% of Total

Corporate 13 enquiries 4.21% of Total

Adult Care Services 8 enquiries 2.59% of Total

Coroners 7 enquiries 2.27% of Total

Trading Standards5 enquiries 1.62% of Total

Road Safety 3 enquiries 0.97% of Total

Cross-service 3 enquiries 0.97% of Total

Libraries 1 enquiry0.32% of Total

Of these, 179 were in relation to the bad weather, divided as follows among the different service areas:
