I am a London-based Compositor and Motion Graphic Designer with experience working on feature film, commercials, broadcast and corporate titles since 2003, and in the wider field of design and programming since 1997.
My experience has covered a wide range of post-production roles, including working in large scale, feature film pipelines, vfx supervision and managing busy design studios. I now specialize in film compositing using Nuke.

I am a highly organized and efficient worker, and I pride myself in having a dedicated and professional attitude towards delivering quality work within tight deadlines. I also have a meticulous eye for detail and the drive to constantly improve
my skills.

4 months at MPC working on the movie “Prometheus”. I was compositing in stereo using Nuke, and part of a large-scale, well established pipeline.

Nov 2011 – Jan 2012VFX Supervisor, Lenscare FX

Tea Shop & Film co. bought me in as vfx supervisor for this movie, which was shot on location in London. I worked with the directors to design key vfx shots (set extensions, location enhancements, green screen work and gore effects) and worked on set to supervise the shoot. Post production involved me co-coordinating 8 artists in 4 countries to deliver 80 shots in just 8 weeks,

Dec 2010 – Nov 2011Senior Compositor, Pixomondo (London)

I was initially employed with Pixomondo as a lead compositor on the movie “Dark Tide”. After this delivered I was invited to join the team working on “Hugo”– my first stereoscopic feature film compositing work.

Nov 2008 – Sep 2009Digital Paint and Rotoscope Artist at Framestore

I worked at Framestore in their digital prep department, on a number of feature film and TV titles. My key role was digital paint / rig removal / set extensions and rotoscoping in a large-scale vfx pipeline.

Jan 2008 – Nov 2008Editor and Motion Graphic Designer at Grain Media

At Grain Media I was employed to travel to various sporting events around the world and shoot / edit packages onsite for broadcast and online content. I was also producing motion graphics packages for various clients.

Sep 2007 – Jan 2008Lead Compositor at Mobstar Media

My contract at Mobstar Media was to produce visual effects and be a lead compositor on a Sci-Fi mini-series called “The Cell”. The entire production was shot on a greenscreen stage and so required 3 months of intense work to create all of the digital environments and integrate the 40 minutes of delivered footage. I worked in a team with 4 other artists.

Feb 2003 – Sep 2007Senior Compositor / Motion Graphics Designer at West End Studios

I worked in a senior role at West End Studios for 4.5 years, and was key in developing their post-production facilities from a minor subsidiary service to an efficient, profitable suite of 6 members of staff with its own 72sqm green-screen studio. It involved mostly motion graphics, compositing and editing work, as well as some multimedia programming.
It was a high-pressure environment that regularly called for long hours, and periods working overseas on jobs.

Sep 1997 – July 2001Studio Manager / Senior Multimedia Developer at Procyon Ltd

As graphic designer / multimedia developer at Procyon my job entailed development of interactive cd-roms,
e-commerce sites, web-based applications, touch-screen kiosks, online advertising, and Shockwave games. It was also my task to design brochures, logos and corporate identities to accompany these products. I was eventually promoted to studio manager, but continued to be the primary multimedia developer.
