Make your visit to the Christkindlmarket extra special by reserving an exclusive table just for you and your group in the Grand Timber House! Invite your clients, business partners and/or family to experience this traditional German market and impress them with a festively decorated reserved table, souvenir boot mugs and prepaid food and drinks at a traditional German “Stammtisch,” a friendly get-together among friends.

One, two or up to three full tables (seating 8 adults or up to 10 children each) can be reserved at a time for two hours. Tables will be decorated with tablecloths and holiday decor and set up according to your order. Additional hours can be purchased. Substitution of food items is not possible. Please see the list below for rates (plates, utensils, napkins and condiments are included):

Stammtisch Reservation Terms and Conditions

All Stammtisch table reservations are subject to the terms and conditions listed below. Terms and conditions are non-negotiable.

The Stammtische (reserved tables) are located in the Grand Timber House (main wooden walk-in structure at the Christkindlmarket, 50 W. Washington Street, Chicago, IL 60602) on Daley Plaza. One, two or three full tables can be reserved at a time. Each table seats 8 adults or up to 10 children. Tables will be decorated and prepared with your order. There is no difference between the tables.

Reservation and Payment:

  • Must be made through the online booking system at
  • You must create an account in order to register (only one person from your party must create an account)
  • All bookings must be made at least two days prior to your event
  • Your booking will be confirmed via confirmation email once payment is received
  • Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to pay through the PayPal portal

Check-In:

  • You must check-in at the Christkindlmarket Information desk in the Grand Timber House upon your arrival to receive your assigned table reservation
  • A 30 min. no show policy applies: If no one from your party arrives or checks-in within 30 minutes of the start time of your reservation, the organizer reserves the right to cancel your reservation; payments are non-refundable in this case
  • Please call us at (312) 263-8110 to let us know if you are running late
  • Your two (2) hour reservation time starts with the time that was confirmed, not when you arrive

Extending your stay:

  • You may extend your visit if your table is not reserved after your scheduled time frame
  • Please contact the Information Desk to determine whether the time is available
  • If tables are available, additional hours can be purchased in one (1) hour increments at $52 per table to be paid by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover) or in cash at the Information desk

Extra food, beverage and souvenir mug (as long as supplies last) orders:

  • Please note that additional food and/or beverages may be ordered at the event in the form of coupons
  • Please note that food and beverage service will not be available for additional orders – all food and beverage coupons that are not included in the original order are self-serve
  • You will be given coupons for each item, which you may then take to the appropriate food or drink vendor to redeem your order
  • There is no wait-staff available

Please be advised that all sales are final, even if the reservation is cancelled. Payments are non-refundable unless the organizer determines that special circumstances apply.

Your table(s) may have a reservation following yours and we kindly ask you to respect the timing of your reservation.

All guests must be 21 years or older with a valid ID to drink alcohol. No exceptions!

Children are welcome at our family-friendly event, especially for the “Kindertisch”, but need to be supervised at all times by parents and/or guardians.

The organizers are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. If you have lost something please check with the information booth and give them your contact information. If you notice that you have lost an item after the event is over, contact the market’s information number at (312) 263-8110 and describe the item in full detail.
