What concepts will students learn? / 1. Students will be assessed on vocabulary words learned through the summer reading assignment
2. Students will learn about the historical background from which their novel is written as well as the author’s biography / Students will take a test on Jane Eyre, thus ending their summer reading assignments—this will take the entire period / Students will being learning about Jacobean theatre and the life and times of William Shakespeare…we will start Macbeth shortly
Students will do their daily Pre-AP drill in order to get ready for next year’s exam
