Illuminated Poetry Essay

My Photostory shows my view or feelings I got from my poem. My poem was “The Snow is Deep on the Ground” while it talks about snow in this title oddly enough I only had two slides with pictures of snow. The main feeling I got from this poem is grief then overcoming. See there is a tone shift I believe in this poem. During my work on my photostory I realized this and tried my best to figure out where this tone shifts is located so that when I was illuminating my poem it would be see-able and easy to identify. When the author says “the snow is deep on the ground…” I see this to be another way of describing the grief this author faces and the true weight of it. So the images or feelings I felt as I read this poem I included in my illumination. So for that image of grief I had seen with that I made that the back ground with red font color so it was visible. I tried my best with this to make all text visible while this wasn’t all completely possible or work out it is a piece of work I worked on and tried on and too me looks nice especially since I can relate to this poem.

For the other half of the poem where I believe the tone shifts I used more colors for the font than just red also I used brighter pictures and more pictures showing an overcoming or acceptance since I believe the tone is overcoming since he has overcome his grief and even accepted it. Again making this I tried to make the tone shift identifiable and easy to see for all audiences. By doing this I believe its helps the audience understand the poem and even relate. For the most part I sectioned each line of the poem off to a slide since it’s not a long poem or even lines.
