·  ACTION: Alec to fix the meeting date in the header and Israa’s email address.
·  VOTE: Ryan motions to approve the January 6th, 2016 BOG Meeting minutes, as revised. Morgan seconds the motion. Motion carries unanimously. / Closed
3 / Treasurer’s Report & Budget – Morgan Stevens
·  Morgan presents a current status of the chapter finances
·  Expenses are following the budget closely
·  Still owed money by Winter Party sponsors
·  Committee chairs may collect checks, then send to Treasurer, to simplify the process
·  Taxes have been paid
·  ACTION: Candidates for budgeted YEA leader training to be identified by BOG.
·  Credit card fees are factored into and absorbed by meeting cost, all other payments to have a percentage added when paying by credit card.
·  Bank of America website payment option to be ready for next meeting
·  ACTION: Morgan to forward bank account statements to the BOG / Closed

·  In progress: dinner speaker lined up, but working on PES
·  ACTION: Southland to work on getting someone for a DOAS PES.

·  Cogen topic booked for Dinner presentation in lieu of the PES
·  Concerns with Refrigerants topic in the PES spot (time)

Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) – Jon Rumbaugh, Dan McGee
·  Joint happy hour with IES. Penn social likely. Probably before march meeting.
·  YEA event in May. Looking at CarPool in Ballston.
·  ACTION: Lauren and Jonathan to work on implementing idea for Q/A forum for PE study group.
·  Ilona suggests looking into group rates with third party PE study material companies

·  DRC assigned points not yet entered

·  Roger officially selected as a voting member on committee for next code cycle for DC Green and Energy Code. Aiming to adopt an outcome based code provision.

·  Bylaws to incorporate new logo, new format, and grassroots government affairs committee. Mandated by society, so no votes necessary. If deviations necessary other than those allowable here, will need approval through votes. Laura to update.
·  DC Council of Engineering and Architectural Societies (DCCEAS) luncheon paid for, 10 seats. Wednesday, February 24th. Still need 8 people. At Holiday Inn in Rosslyn. Interested parties contact Omar or Morgan.
·  Stephen volunteers for future cities next year.
·  Stephen suggests making early CRC reservations. / Open
