Senior Leisure Assistant, Splash, £18,761.45 p.a (£9.72 per hour)
Permanent role, Full time – 37 Hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, flexible and committed individual to work as part of the management team.
You will be directly responsible to the Duty Manager ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility through effective use of resources, whilst also ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
Experience within the leisure industry is essential and you must have the ability to supervise staff and have experience of operational processes and procedures.
Applicants must hold or expect to hold valid National Pool Lifeguard and Pool Plant Qualifications by the interview date together with an up to date training record.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking Lifeguard duties and leading a team of Lifeguards to assist in an efficient and customer focused service in both wet and dry-side activities. You must possess excellent leadership & customer care skills, a high level of personal presentation and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You must be able to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
You will effectively deal with staffing issues and motivate the team to maintain excellent standards of performance, cleanliness and customer care. You will also liaise with customers to resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
