FREE CAR WASH for Veterans and Military Personnel on Remembrance Day 2017 at [insert Car Wash name]

Grace for Vets is an international program through which car wash operators in four countries provide free car washes to veterans and currently service personnel, as their way of saying thank you to all those people who have been or are part of our military services.

Grace For Vets was founded in 2004 by Mike Mountz, an ex-serviceman profoundly moved by visits to Veterans hospitals in the USA. Started at his own car wash in Philadelphia, last year more than 3,800 car washes joined in, in the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

[insert Car Wash name] has signed up to be part of this special event in November and will be giving away free washes on [insert days and times when service will be available].

“This day is not about the car wash operators who are providing the FREE washes, it’s about honouring and recognizing those who have and are serving and protecting our country,” says [insert name] the car wash owner/manager. “It’s an exciting and emotional day for everyone. Our management team and employees look forward to giving back to those who have given so much to uphold the values and security of Australia.”

The Grace for Vets program is promoted in Australia by the Australian Car Wash Association (ACWA). Craig Campbell, national President of ACWA, encourages all car wash businesses to demonstrate their thanks and respect to veterans, war widows and those still serving by taking part in this program. “We hope to wash over 6,000 service personnel cars in Australia this year.” says Craig, ”And [Car Wash Name] will help us to achieve our goal.”

The program is simple and based on honour – just tell the car wash attendants that you are or have been in the services and you will receive a free car wash.
