SAIL Scholarship Application

Each year the SAIL program awards scholarship money to students who have participated in the SAIL camps and are pursuing higher education at the University of Oregon.

TO QUALIFY, APPLICANTS MUST:

Have participated in TWO or more SAIL camps
Have attended SAIL/ASPIRE meetings, events and mentoring during the school year (if available)
Complete this SAIL scholarship applicationin full and essay
Be attending the University of Oregon

The SAIL scholarshipamounts awarded will be based on level of participation in the SAIL program, financial need and available funding

INSTRUCTIONS:

To apply, you must meet the above qualifications and submit application materials in hard copy no later than March 23, 2018 by 5:00 PM.

1. Completed application form(see the following page)

2. A 250-wordessay describing your academic goals and why you should receive a SAIL scholarship

3. Qualify as either, Pell grant eligible, 1st generation to attend college, or come from a diverse background

4. Supply your financial aid award letter(s) from UO.
