Santa Claus- The legendary fable that brings gifts to children on Christmas (X-mas) Eve. He’s the colorful personality that symbolizes Christmas to the unsaved world. He’s the Christmas image of the unbeliever. Christians are forbidden to compromise with this satanic fable. Don’t turn from the truth to a lie. Santa Claus is a lie. “Who changed the Truth of God into a lie.” (Rom.1:25) “And they shall turn away their ears from the Truth and shall be turned unto fables.” (2 Tim.4:4)
Santa wears a red suit and an elf-like hat and has a white beard and drives a sleigh that flies thru the air pulled by eight reindeer. He comes down the fireplace (suitable place to find Satan) bearing gifts for demons. This fable is harder to believe than the truth of the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ and the real meaning of Christmas.
Satan’s Santa- Satan just changed two letters of his name around and came up with Santa. Don’t fall for the lie of Satan. Satan has been very successful with the Santa fable in taking away the glory of the Lord Jesus.
Christmas- The incarnation- God became man, born of a virgin- Jesus- Savior- God manifest in the flesh- Emanuel- Son of God- Son of Man- Mary Christmas not Merry Christmas. Satan absolutely must attack this tremendous truth, so he substituted the Santa Fable (ho-ho-ho- the jokes on you).
Santa is the spirit of anti-Christ: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God. And this is that spirit of anti-Christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come: and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God little children and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world (Santa) and the world heareth them. We are of God, he that knoweth God hears us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” (1 John 4:1-6)
Do you see the test- (Jesus Christ is come in the flesh)-
this is the true Christmas. The virgin born Son of God born at Bethlehem. Do you see the spirit of error (Santa) and the spirit of truth (Jesus)? This anti-Christ spirit is very hard for born again saints to fight against during the Christmas season. We need to stand during the Christmas season for Jesus and the truth and stand against the satanic, worldly spirit.
God charges me as a preacher to “Preach the Word: be instant in season,, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”(2 Tim.4:2) Jesus is the reason for the season. The modern day Santa Claus Christmas season is out of season for a preacher to preach on. It’s not popular, but we’re commanded by God to preach on it.
How people love the lie and hate God’s truth. They want the deadly mixture of truth and error. They want a religious Christmas in church and a worldly Santa Christmas in the home. Well, today Santa is in the church as well. Stand for the truth. Don’t compromise. Don’t serve both the Lord and Baal.
Some worldly churches have their preachers dress like Santa and hand out gifts and have Christmas trees and sing ‘Here Comes Santa Claus.’ Christian, how do you fare at the Christmas season? How far have you backslidden into the world? What kind of witness do you have for Christ during the holiday season? Stand for the truth and let your light shine in a dark world. Be peculiar to the world.
Santa is a lie, especially propagated by merchants to make money and Christians should use their money for the Lord’s work. “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned untoFables.”
Did you know the devil used ‘his ministers’ to start and propagate this fable? “And no marvel: for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness.” (2 Cor.11:14-15)
The Catholic church started this fable with their heresy of worshipping of saints, especially St. Nicholas. He was a Catholic Bishop in Turkey about 300 A.D. He wore a red robe and a red mitre on his head. In America the red robe and mitre became the red suit and cap of Santa Claus in the 1800’s. Saint (Santa) Nicholas (Claus). The Protestant reformers forbade exchanging gifts on St. Nicholas Day to “prevent all such superstitions and fables of the papacy out of people’s heads.”(See God’s Holy Spirit of truth at work)
The Puritans that founded our nation were bitterly opposed to Catholic worship of saints. They strictly forbid the observance of this Catholic holiday also. Roman Catholic immigrants continued to bring St. Nick with them to U.S. Santa started with the Catholic worshipping of saints.
In Holland, the Dutch people dress to impersonate the Bishop St. Nicholas, as we dress like Santa. St. Nicholas, splendid in his red bishop robes, rides a white horse as he leaps from house to house. (Anti-Christ rides a white horse in Rev.6)
Now- 2004 – Santa is synonymous with Christmas more than Jesus is. Now Santa is real and Jesus is false. Santa has made America his permanent home. Don’t be deceived.
In 1809, Washington Irving portrayed St. Nicholas in his book entitled ‘Knickerbocker’s History of New York’ as a jolly, tubby fellow who rode thru the air in a wagon. (Santa, like most immigrants, first settled in N.Y.)
In 1822, a theology professor named Clement Moore at a seminary in N.Y. wrote a poem for his children at Christmas called ‘Twas the night before Christmas.’ This ‘Rev.’ taught his children this lie and now the devil has used him to teach millions of other children the same lie and substitute it for the virgin birth of Christ.
Then in 1863, cartoonist Thomas Nast completed the present day image of Satan’s Santa. He must have a costume and image in order to market him and make millions of dollars. Merchandise and idols go together. Behold now the Hollywood Santa.
Santa is a seducing spirit of Satan for the seduction of Christianity and the world. It’s a doctrine of devils and part of Satan’s end time religion. “Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.” (1 Tim.4:1)
In Rev. 12:1-5 and Rev. 17:3-4 we see the following:
“And there appeared a great wonder in Heaven: a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in Heaven: and behold a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of Heaven and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God and to his throne.” “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color.” Etc.
Notice the red dragon- the red beast and the red whore that rides him. No wonder Santa is red and flying thru the air like the red dragon. This is red Santa and his red false church (mainly Roman Catholic). The red Santa started from a red Catholic Bishop. And Satan used the Catholic Church worship of saints (in particular St. Nicholas) over many hundred of years to get the complete Santa Claus of today.
Do you see the red dragon at the virgin’s birth of Christ at Bethlehem in (vs. 4) at Christmas? I see Satan as the one controlling his ‘stars’ and he got one of his stars to guide the wise men astrologers to Jerusalem and then to Bethlehem. “Where is he that is born King of the Jews.”Got King Herod so jealous and angry, he tried to kill baby Jesus with the ‘slaughter of the innocents.’ The star located baby Jesus for Herod and the dragon went in for the kill. But God overrules Satan and sends his angel in a dream to warn Joseph and Mary to flee into Egypt.
And Satan continues to attack Christ and his virgin birth today through his red Santa flying through the heaven to steal hearts away from the truth unto fables.
Peter was on the Mt. of Transfiguration with Jesus and got a miniature look at the second coming of the Lord Jesus in power and great glory and he said in 2 Pet. 1:16 “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His
majesty.” The first coming of Christ and the first Christmas day is not a fable and neither will the second coming of Christ be a fable. Do not follow cunningly devised fables of Satan such as the Santa Fable- follow the Word of God. Listen to the truth in Mt. 1:18-25.
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.”
Has Jesus Christ saved you from your sins? Have you received him as your personal savior. “But as many received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”(John 1:12) If you want to be saved, “Call upon the name of the Lord.” (Jesus) with an honest and contrite heart.
First – Repent of your sins - turn away from your wicked ways.Second – Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart.Third – Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and give your testimony.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9)God’s Son is the true Christmas gift.
Jesus was born of the Holy Ghost and you must be born again of the Holy Ghost, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.” (John 3:6-7)“Therefore also that holy thing which shall born of thee shall be called the son of God.”

‘America’s ‘Krissmiss’ not Christmas’
The Christian Christmas hardly exists any longer in America. It’s been replaced by something called Krissmiss, which is something else entirely. It’s the Krissmiss for the unbeliever and unsaved. (Christ has been taken out). The Christmas light has been turned off in America.
It’s a national holiday but not a religious holy day. The holy day has been replaced by holly-day of Hollywood. Krissmiss is an endless series of ‘specials’ on TV. Krissmiss is Santa day and gift-giving and Jimmy Stewart and Charles Dickens and Charlie Brown and parades and football and meals and family gatherings and when ¼ of all liquor is purchased in a year.
The secularization of Christ’s birthday is all but complete. The BIG BIRTHDAY when Jesus Christ, the Son of God was born of a virgin and laid in a manger, barely exists in America anymore.
Occasionally you will see a manger scene but these are getting rare. Just some tokens left by fanatical fundamentals funhaters (FFF).
The American Krissmiss is so cheery, expensive and seductive, so homogenized, pasteurized and secularized that it would simply be un-American to leave anyone out. Krissmiss is now for everyone, not just Christians.
The Jews can enjoy it. Let them enjoy that Jewish Krissmiss called Hanukka. It’s not right to make the Jews feel uneasy at Christmas.
The blacks, who refuse to worship the white man’s Jesus, now have their black Krissmiss called Kwansaa and Malcom X-mas. Oh yes- and make sure you have your Krissmiss tree.“And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.” ( 2 Tim.4) The Santa fable. Don’t turn your Christmas light off- Jesus is coming again.

‘A Different Tree’
There were no tiny colored bulbs
Strung from limb to limb
They took the light of God
And made the world dim.
He died on a different tree.
There were no presents beneath
With bows of brightest red
Our gift and our redemption
Are in the veins that bled.

The tinsel didn’t shimmer silver
And beads of gold were never strung
But this was the costliest gift

The stench of dying Deity
Did permeate the air.

There was no fancy tag attached
That designates ‘who-to’
But God made it very plain
It simply reads- ‘for you!’

It wasn’t chosen for it’s color
It’s height, shape, or beauty
This tree has but one branch
And it reaches to Heaven, you see.
He died on a different tree.
One is lovely to look upon
The other battered and bruised
Today will you decide
Which tree will you choose?
