Guidelines

·  Try to get 3 in a row before you return to school in August.

·  Bring your winning tic tac toe board in to the library by August 31st for your chance to win prizes.

·  Remember the public library has free events going on all summer long just for teens as well as free Wi-Fi and books to borrow! It is located at 300 S. McDuffie Street. http://www.andersonlibrary.org/events/events-for-teens/

·  If you choose to do a project, please make it fun and creative! I do not want to see summaries or a picture that you drew in 5 minutes. I would love to see some 3D projects or even something digital like a video.

·  Reading logs help you see how much you actually read, and for someone who reads a lot, it helps you keep track of all of the books you have read. If you choose to keep an electronic reading log, email it to me, share it with me in Google, or send me a link or screenshot by August 31st.

·  If you choose to write a book review, make sure it is a good one! Do NOT just write, “This was a good, funny book” or “This was the worst book ever.” Explain why you feel that way and why the book was good or bad. Maybe even include who would like that book. (Example: “Divergent is a great book because it is full of action! The characters are complex and there is an element of mystery because you aren’t really sure who is good and who is bad. It does have a romantic element, but that is not the main part of the story. If you like dystopian stories like The Hunger Games, then you will love this book!”)
To write your review, go to the link on our library webpage (robertanderson.anderson5.net) and log in with your district username and password.

Happy Reading!
