The Timmy Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that strives to build healthy futures one child at a time. With the aid of committed health care providers, enthusiastic students, and a caring base of supporters, the Timmy Foundation’s international medical service trips are a tremendous success. The Foundation continues to grow and gain interest throughout the country as volunteers learn about our cause.
This year we are holding a formal banquet and silent auction in the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom on February 22, 2008. The name of the banquet is “Hope in Hand: an Evening for a Dream.” This name reflects our goal of raising money for our International Partner Organization, Tierra Nueva, to aid them in completing construction on a hospital in the area of Quito that we visit each year. This event will consist of a Purdue Memorial Union-catered dinner, musical entertainment, and a silent auction of donated items.
We need your help to successfully run this banquet. In return for your company’s donation, you will receive free advertising to many medical professionals and prominent members of this community who will attend this event. Your donation will show that your company supports the improvement and empowerment of health care systems throughout the world. You will be greatly impacting the people of Ecuador, in that all of the money we receive from this event will go directly to the construction of the hospital.
If you have silent auction items or monetary support that you would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate your generosity. If writing a check, please make it out to the Timmy Foundation with Purdue on the memo line. Please note that donations of $50 or more are tax deductible, and we can provide you a receipt upon request.
