Letter from the meet director:

I’m excited to announce the very first meet hosted at BLM Barbell! This will be a great family event, free to all spectators so bring your family and friends!

The meet will be limited to 40 athletes for Powerlifting and 15 for Bench Only, entry will be by scanned and emailed entry form + e-transfer only. It is first come, first serve. The first lifters to have everything sent in (as determined by the timestamp in my inbox) will be entered, simply sending an entry form unaccompanied by payment will not hold your spot.

There is limited parking at BLM Barbell on the north side of the building where the entrance is. There is plenty of parking on Wheel Ave. just south of BLM, which is a very short walk away. Please do not park in the parking lot on the south side of the building as that is reserved for the neighboring businesses. We are in the building right beside Skyline Diesel. There will be temporary signage near the sidewalk to indicate where the entrance is.

A very reasonably priced concession will be available with a variety of foods and beverages (free for volunteers and officials).

There will surely be some excellent lifting and I’m looking forward to cheering you all on!

- Joel
