· Your theme is clearly discussed is in a paragraph at least four sentences. Three specific examples follow along with specific textual evidence to support your idea with insight is provided. .
· You make a text to text connection and clearly explain how the two texts are related.
· You do not make any personal references such as “I hope you enjoyed this essay.”
· You include famous quotes to support your theme and show how they connect.
· Your piece flows well throughout.
· There are no or few grammat-ical/spelling errors.
