Science
AlhamduliAllah we had science fair on Feb.17 and students were working hard for the past three weeks and I am proud of each and every student’s work.
This week we started learning about “Energy.” Students were able to differentiate between matter and energy and we did an experiment called “Dye Dispersion” where they observerevd how increasing the temperature of water increases the energy effects the dye dispertion in hot water compared to ice cold water. They learned about kinetic and potential energy. They were also introduced to different types of enery, kinetic, potential, mechanical, chemical, heat, sound, electrical.
Next week we will start learning about electrical energy

The end of module 4 assessments are traditionally the lowest scoring tests. However, this year the clas as a whole did not do very well. They are given a chance to retain points back, by completing the corrections.
We have started the new module. It is all about fractions. As usually, this is always a big portion of the state test. We will spend a lot of time reviewing and learning this material.
Thank you, in advance for your continuing support! I welcome you to contact me with any questions or concerns @ .
