We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor located in our Corporate Headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. This position will be responsible for oversight of the timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.

Major Areas of Accountability:

·  Supervise A/P clerks, mailroom, and back-up to receptionist.

·  Selects and hires employees.

·  Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance and development.

·  Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.

·  Responsible for all activities in the accounts payable department.

·  Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports.

·  Responsible for annual preparation of 1099’s.

·  Ensure that all accounts payable functions are performed in accordance with the company’s internal control procedures and policies.

·  Assist with audits.

·  Maintain orderly storage of documents/records.

·  Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate:

·  Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in income and sales tax preparation

·  Previous experience maintaining a fixed asset system

·  BS/BA in Accounting

·  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

·  Must be detail orientated with excellent follow-up skills

·  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

·  Intermediate spreadsheet skills

·  10 key by touch helpful
