A very special fold out card with a surprise twirl inside!

Instructions

Stamps used will be from the For Everything stamp set unless otherwise noted.

Step 1

Wheel all three So Saffron pieces of card stock sizes 3-3/4” x 5-1/4”, 1-1/2” x 8-1/2” and 1” x 3-3/4” using the Fast Flowers wheel and Daffodil Delight ink cartridge. Set aside.

From a scrap piece of Baja Breeze card stock, punch using the Round Tab punch and stamp randomly using the butterfly image with a Baja Breeze Classic Stampin’ Pad. Repeat random stamping on 3-1/2” x 3-3/4” Baja Breeze card stock piece. Set aside.

Prepare the first design by stamping the leaf and stem image using an Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad onto the bottom of a 2-3/4” x 4-1/4” piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp round flower image above left stem using a Baja Breeze Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp six-point flower image above middle stem using a Real Red Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp fan flower image above right stem using a Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp butterfly image above left flower using a Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pad. Punch 2-3/4” width scrap piece of Real Red card stock using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch and adhere it above the butterfly image using SNAIL adhesive.

Punch a scrap piece of Baja Breeze card stock using the Petal Card Extra-Large Double punch by placing the card stock in between the punch and placing it on a flat surface. Set aside. Cut attached portion of punched out image using Paper Snips. Stamp thinking of you bird image from Cute by the Inch hostess stamp set onto scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and cut along the image using Paper Snips. Adhere piece to a scrap piece of Real Red card stock using SNAIL adhesive and trim around edge using Paper Snips leaving a 1/16” border. Attach to the Petal Card punched out piece using SNAIL adhesive and adhere it to the first card flap piece. Set aside.

Prepare second design by adhering the previously wheeled 1” x 3-3/4” So Saffron card stock piece to the top of the previously stamped 3-1/2” x 3-3/4” Baja Breeze card stock piece using SNAIL adhesive. On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp five-petal flower image from Itty Bitty Bits stamp set using a Real Red Classic Stampin’ Pad, four-petal flower using an Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad and scalloped flower image using a Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pad. Punch out pieces using coordinating Itty Bitty punches. Adhere to the bottom of Baja Breeze card stock using SNAIL adhesive. Make a tag from 3” x 4-1/2” Old Olive card stock by laying the corner of the card stock onto the Paper Cutter diagonally on the 2” mark and the other corner flush against the top. Cut the opposite corner by laying the cut out piece onto the corner and trim using Paper Snips. Stamp floral design on top left corner and bottom right corner of 2-3/4” x 3-3/4” Whisper White card stock. Adhere to Old Olive tag using SNAIL adhesive. Fold round tab punched out piece in half and adhere to the top of the tag using SNAIL adhesive and install Jumbo eyelet using the Crop-A-Dile. Insert
4-1/2” length of Real Red 1/4” grosgrain ribbon through eyelet and tie into a knot. Set all pieces aside.

Prepare the last design by stamping the bird image onto 2-3/4” x 4-1/4” Whisper White card stock toward the left bottom edge using an Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad. Color in the image using Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight and Real Red Stampin’ Write markers. Stamp friendship in a frame image using a Baja Breeze Classic Stampin’ Pad. Adhere to 3” x 4-1/2” Old Olive card stock using SNAIL adhesive.

From a scrap piece of Real Red card stock, punch three flowers using the Fancy Flower Extra-Large punch. From a scrap piece of Baja Breeze card stock, stamp three flower images using a Baja Breeze Classic Stampin’

Pad and punch images out with 1” Circle Medium punch. From a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp three of the smallest flower images using an Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad and punch images out using the 1/2" Circle Small punch. Adhere pieces together using Stampin’ Dimensionals and place the smallest rhinestone in the center of each flower from the Basic Rhinestones Jewels. Set all the pieces aside.

Score 5-1/2” x 8” Crumb Cake card stock at 4”. Stamp Thanks for everything you do image onto previously wheeled 3-3/4” x 5-1/2” So Saffron card stock. Insert 2-1/2” Circle punch into the bottom of 5-1/2” x 8” Crumb Cake card stock. Center and punch out. Center So Saffron card stock (without adhering) and flip upside down. Trace the circle opening using a pencil. Punch out penciled area using 2-1/2” Circle punch.

Score 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Crumb Cake card stock at 4” and 8” (you will have a 1/2" flap on one side). Adhere
5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and 5-1/2” x 8” Crumb Cake card stock pieces together with the 1/2" flap on the right side under the base of the 5-1/2” x 8” Crumb Cake card stock and punched out circle on bottom left side using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Start assembling the card by adhering the first design onto the very left of the Crumb Cake card using SNAIL adhesive. Place a very thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of 3-1/2” x 3-3/4” Baja Breeze card stock. Attach it to the second flap so it makes a pocket for the tag. Insert the tag after the glue has dried. Adhere the last design to the very right of the card using SNAIL adhesive.

Attach 3-1/4” length of thin nylon string and attach it to the 2-1/2” circle opening using Sticky Strip on the Crumb Cake card. Peel off the backing and apply a layer of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of
3-3/4” x 5-1/4” So Saffron card stock. Line it up to the circle opening of the card and adhere. Adhere two flowers together using Sticky Strip and Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the nylon string.

Close the card and stamp Thanks for everything you do on the front of the card using an Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad. Color the Thanks image in using a Baja Breeze Stampin’ Write marker. Wrap 1-1/2” x 8-1/2” So Saffron card stock around the card and adhere ends together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue creating a band. Adhere last flower onto the band using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Glitter your card images using a 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
