POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Human Resources Analyst
Reports to: Chief Human Resources Officer
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data related to all functions of HR, including, but not limited to: recruitment, engagement, employee exits, and staffing. Additionally, this position will manage both the learning and patient engagement platforms and provide data analysis related to these systems on a regular basis.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Gather and analyze data related to all functions of Human Resources.
 - Manage the Staff and Physician learning system platform, providing training to staff and managers and data analysis as necessary.
 - Assembly and timely distribution of ad-hoc and regularly scheduled reports with data integrity verification
 - Must be able to provide written findingreports and recommendations
 - Analyze integrity of data results to facilitate identification of follow-up items
 - Communicate routinely any significant issues, status of projects, barriers and successes
 - Develop awareness and familiarity with issues and events affecting operations and its customers
 - Manage and monitor the patient survey data collection system, analyzes data and prepares monthly reports to the CHRO and Service Standards Committee based on data from all collected sources.
 - Will provide additional reporting as necessary to physicians, administrators and department directors.
 - Report all data findings and appropriate recommendations in a timely manner to stakeholder groups.
 - Practice and demonstrate adherence to the HCPA’s Mission, Values and all applicable policies and procedures
 
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field
 - Equivalent experience may be substituted for education
 - Advanced Excel functions, formulas, and data reporting capabilities.
 - Outstanding verbal, writtenand presentation skills
 - Solid Human Resources background
 - Demonstrated experience:
 - Creating reports and data manipulation using Microsoft Excel
 - Working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files
 - Analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts and transforming raw data into user friendly reports
 - Analyzing data trends and recommending plans of action
 - Public speaking
 - Demonstrated success:
 - Employing exceptional customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills and exhibiting a professional demeanor
 - Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse population, including employees at all organizational levels
 - Leading projects from start to finish
 - Proven ability:
 - Taking initiative and working independently to determine strategies for accomplishing work objectives
 - Leading by example and fostering mentor relationships
 - Continuously assessing program and process effectiveness, with a focus on continuous quality improvement
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a related field
 - Two years of reporting, decision support and data analysis experience required
 - Five (5) years related management/leadership experience in healthcare and managing comprehensive projects that positively affect patient and organization outcomes
 - In-depth knowledge of health care systems, analysis and evaluation techniques, and statistical process control techniques (Patient Experience knowledge preferred)
 - Supervisory experience
 - Understanding of Business Intelligence and Dashboard Development
 - Applicable certification
 
Position Classification:
This is a full time, exempt position. Regular hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
