Purpose
Provide information on ATI-owned career schools.
ATI Schools Ineligible for Assistance
The Texas Workforce Commission has notified the system that it is revoking all licenses for ATI-owned schools to operate as career schools in Texas.
ATI-owned schools will no longer be able to legally operate accept students and provide education and training classes in the state of Texas.
ATI-owned and operated schools are not eligible to receive referrals from Workforce Solutions for training or education services, to be on our vendor lists, or to receive payments from us.
What This Means to Us
- We currently do not have any ATI-owned school programs on our vendor list. We will not approve applications from ATI-owned schools to place education and training programs on our vendor list.
- We will not approve scholarships for customers to attend any ATI-owned school program. This applies to all our funding streams including the Trade Act – Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA).
- The Financial Aid Payment Office will not approve vouchers for, nor pay invoices from, ATI-owned schools.
- Career offices may not approve requests from customers for financial aid to attend an ATI school.
- ATI schools are not eligible training providers for customized or current worker training.

Make sure that all staff are aware of the requirements in this issuance.
