POST / REQUIRED : MIDDAY SUPERVISOR
The Midday Supervisor post is Monday to Friday term time only from 12.00 to 1.15 or 12.15-1.30
The candidate will need to enjoy working with children and be good at communicating with them. Lots of patience and smiles required. This post is subject to safeguarding procedures; the successful candidate will need to have a DBS check, good references and good health. Child Protection is our highest priority.

/ REQUIRED – Finance Officer
We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our growing school.
We have a strong and energetic Senior Leadership Team, a dedicated and happy team of staff, children who enjoy their learning and supportive parents. The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
·  Hours: 10- 12 hours per week, these hours may increase over the next few years as the school grows
·  Starting andfinishing times are negotiable
·  Term time only with two additional weeks per year (40 weeks per year).
·  Salary:The salary is negotiable dependent on experience of candidate.
·  Start Date: Immediate
ABOUT THE SCHOOL / We value all individuals and encourage all pupils to maximise their potential and to try their best. The school has a positive, caring and inclusive atmosphere and is a very happy place to work.
Slade School is situated in the centre of Tonbridge near the castle. It has its own large playing field, playground, trim trail, large library, willow dome, allotment, orchard and an early year’s play area. The school is very well resourced and has an efficient programme of yearly maintenance and development works. ICT is strong in the school, classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, laptops and ipads available for class use. We also have a learning platform. The school has had 4 very successful Ofsted inspections during the last 10 years and we were graded outstanding in September 2011.
We have 379 happy pupils on roll and are growing by 15 children each year until 2020. All building works were completed in July 2015. We have a Specialist Resource Provision for Hearing Impaired children with places for 6 pupils.
The school has an efficient Governing Body that supports the work of the staff at the school.
