Financial Assistance Information
KIDSTAGE offers financial assistance to qualifying families in the form of scholarships and work exchange.
Payment plans are also available to anyone who prefers to divide their balance into more than one installment during Fall, Winter or Summer Sessions. Please call the office to make arrangements for a payment plan.

Our financial assistance funding is limited, and we may be unable to fill all funding requests. For best consideration, please apply as soon as possible. You may apply for only one class per student, per session, with the exception of Summer session, in which you may apply for aid for up to two summer camps per student.
Financial assistance awards are based on the guidelines established by the state free and reduced-priced lunch program. Financial assistance is available in the form of a) credit toward tuition, or b) work in exchange for a credit toward tuition, or a combination of the two. Generally, applicants who qualify for reduced lunch receive assistance equivalent to 25% of tuition, and those who qualify for free lunch receive assistance equivalent to 50% of tuition.
Registrations that accompany a financial assistance request are not confirmed until KIDSTAGE has received a completed application. During the KIDSTAGE session, students receiving assistance may be asked to complete surveys, or write thank you notes to the donors of our financial assistance fund.
Families must apply for Financial Assistance EACH session (Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer) that they wish to be considered (except for Institute/Pathway to Institute programs).
EACH application must include all four items listed below:
1) KIDSTAGE Registration Form for current session.
2) KIDSTAGE Financial Assistance Application
3) Proof of financial need. Either:
a. Current year’s Free/Reduced Lunch award letter.
b. Proof of DSHS benefits.
c. Full tax return, current paystubs and letter of explanation (when necessary).
4) Non-refundable deposit.
