Materials:

·  Film canister for each punctuation mark

·  Adhesive putty

Description:

Students will use sticky adhesive to attach the appropriate punctuation mark to a sentence.

Step-by-Step:

1. Preparation: Cut out individual punctuation marks and put them in the film canister.

Put adhesive putty on the inside of the container lid.

2. When the class is working on adding punctuation to interactive charts, poems, etc.,

have a child pinch off a tiny piece of putty, attach it to the back of the correct

punctuation mark, and place the mark where it belongs.
