AGENDA
1. Budget – Standing Item
Tina asked that if anyone had telephone or computer needs to let her know so she can schedule a time with Convergent Technologies. Also, she needs all sales receipts for June or before to be turned in.
2. 2011 Blessing Service – Tabled
3. Request to place copies of the “Prodigals Community 2010 Wreaths of Hope” order forms at the Welcome Center
These order forms will be placed on the “Love the World” slat boards
4. Request to place Focus on the Family election brochures in the church – Approved
5. Ministry Informational Session - November 10 at 5:30
Anyone interested in learning more about the Healing Ministries of the church will be invited to attend this session. Information will be shared about Healing and Hope, Prophetic Blessing, LIFE Ministry, and Intercession. Afterward people will be able to ask questions and express their interest in being trained in one of these ministry areas. Room 210 was approved for this session.
6. Facility locks and doors
Rick Peacock has found the Media cabinet unlocked a couple of times. He encouraged anyone using this cabinet to make sure it is locked after each use. Also, the set of emergency keys for the Harper House have disappeared for a second time. These keys are kept in the storage room on the outside of the Harper House; Rick was instructed to change the combination lock on that storage room door.
7. Handicap Accessible Doors
Mickey explained how the switch for the new handicap access doors work. When the switch is set to “off,” the button for the doors will not work. When the switch is set to “on,” the button for the doors works. When the switch is set to “open,” the doors stay open. When the doors are locked, the switch should always be set to “off.”
8. Communion Clean Up
There was a question about Communion elements not being cleaned up. Wanda has found molded juice on two different occasions. Bob Bruce will follow up with those who have volunteered to help with Communion.
10. Sermon CD’s
Because of the shortened time between services, the sermon CD’s are not able to be reproduced and available for purchase following the 11:00 service. The CD’s will be available for purchase by mid-week. The message is available to listen to via internet and download via the church website by Monday.
Respectfully submitted,
Lisa Shirley
