·  From April 2016 WOODSIDE CHILDREN’S CENTRE is YOUR local children’s centre: 2minutes’ walk down White Hart Lane from the Civic Centre and Stuart Crescent Health Centre. The team at Woodside will deliver services across Bounds Green, Woodside, Noel Park areas.

·  For information about childcare or school places, or free nursery places for 2, 3 or 4 year olds, see the Haringey website: search for “children and families” and choose from the list.

·  Worried about your baby’s health? Phone the Health Visitor team at Stuart Crescent on 020 3074 2907. Or contact your GP.

·  Medical help needed but it’s not an emergency? phone 111

·  Worried about your child’s talking? Phone the Speech and Language Advice Line on 0203 224 4399

·  Parents feeling low / stressed out? Ask your GP or Health Visitor about IAPS (Psychological Therapies)

·  Having trouble adjusting to being a new parent? Need help to bond with your baby – or suffering post-natal “blues”? ask your GP or Health Visitor. They may offer a referral to PIPs (for parents / carers with babies up to 2 years: 020 8442 6381). OR talk to your children’s centre.

·  Local drop-in space for parents: Burghley Road Play Space, N8 0QG just off Turnpike Lane, behind the shops on the high road. 0208 888 4664 Drop-in Tues-Friday 10.30 – 2 pm. Volunteer/ parent run.
