Mini-Grant Applications Now Open
NGCP mini-grants are designed to enhance access to and build collaboration between programs and resources. Thanks to generous funding from Cray, Inc., mini-grant applications are being accepted for the Seattle Metro area until May 19, 2011 with decisions by May 27, 2011. Mini-grant application resources, including a sample application, research based strategies, and evaluation requirements are available online at
Collaborating for Change:Strengthening Our Collective Capacity to Engage Girls in STEM

The Pacific Northwest Girls Collaborative Project invites program managers, guidance counselors, business partners, technical professionals, K-12 teachers, and representatives from professional organizations and higher education to join us for a professional development forum and to meet new colleagues and to identify collaboration opportunities.
This forum will be held in conjunction with the Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN) Annual National Conference. Participants can choose from sessions designed specifically with their needs in mind or attend other relevant WEPAN sessions offered during afternoon breakout sessions. Workshop topics and presenter information can be found on the Pacific Northwest Girls Collaborative Project Web site.

Programs can apply to showcase their project or organization during the WEPAN Showcase. Apply by June 1, 2011.
