Weekly Maintenance Checklist

SF6, SX6, SF7, SX7

Before starting any maintenance procedure, make sure that there are no voltage readings on the power supplies for the various devices.

ACTIVITY / CONDITION

1.  MONITOR
-  Using a liquid glass cleaner and soft cloth, clean the surface of monitor
-  Remove any excess dust from the monitor
casing with a vacuum cleaner or soft cloth.
2.  TOUCH SCREEN.
-  Clean the surface of the touch screen with a soft cloth
-  Calibrate the touch screen
- Check that all cables are in good condition
3.  BILL VALIDATOR.
-  Remove the cassette from the Bill Validator
-  Open the two covers of the banknote pathway “clam shel
- Remove any dirt using a soft cloth
moistened with a mild, non-abrasive
detergent.
4.  COIN ACEPTOR
-  Clean the access to chute with a soft cloth
moistened with a non-abrasive, gentle
soap. Clean all surfaces very carefully.
- To clean the access gate, open it very
carefully. While opening the cover,
care must be taken not to damage
the solenoid-pcb connection.
-  Clean all surfaces very carefully with a soft
cloth
5.  INTERFACE BOARD
-  Open the plastic box and clean the board with a soft brush.
- Check that there are no burned elements on
the interface board and that all its
surfaces are in good condition
6.  SPEAKERS
-  Check that the cables are in good condition
and that they are correctly connected to the
device and power source.
-  Always handle the speakers with care. Do
not pull on or stress cables
- Clean the speakers with a soft cloth.
7. CPU
-  cleaning the system
-  system locks up
-  deleting temp files
-  emptying the recycle bin
-  add/remove programs
-  scandisk
-  disk defragmentation
-  virus check
-  cleaning the cache—web maintenance
