The Olive Bowl Venue
The Olive Bowl Venue is situated in Gillingham, on the edge of Dorset, Somerset Wiltshire putting us in the heart of the Southwest.
Our purpose built 200 capacity venue is on a prestigious business park, with excellent parking easy access (wheelchair friendly) along with a full service bar, dance floor large versatile ballroom.
Wedding Reception
As a Wedding Reception venue, the Olive Bowl has had many couples book due to its excellent location warm hospitality we can cater for weddings both small & large
(Up to a maximum of 200).
You will have the dedicated services of our experienced staff who will help with all your planning be on hand throughout your special day to make everything run smoothly.

Terms and Conditions of Booking
Provisional Booking
We will hold a provisional booking for 14 days unless an alternative arrangement has been discussed agreed by both parties. This type of booking puts neither party under any obligation to confirm the booking. A provisional booking will be released after the 14 days unless we hear from you.
Confirmed Booking
A written confirmation & a non-refundable deposit of £400.00 are required to secure the date provisionally booked. We will then confirm the booking back to you.
Cancellation
Should you have to cancel your confirmed booking then we reserve the right to make the following cancellation charges:
Within 6 months 10% of total estimated value
Within 3 months 30% of total estimated value
Within 6 weeks 50% of total estimated value
Within 4 weeks 75% of total estimated value
(VAT @ 20% will be included in the amount due)
Any suitable revenues generated from re-selling the space cancelled will be off set against the cancellation charges.
We strongly recommend that you take out a wedding package insurance policy with your insurance broker.
Final Numbers
All charges will be based on the maximum numbers given 72 hours before the booking.
Terms of Payment
We will send you a pro forma invoice at least 30 days prior to your wedding date. We ask that you pay 90% of the balance, which will be detailed, a minimum of 14 days before (this date will be shown on the pro forma) the final invoice must be paid on the day or before if required.
Prices
All prices include Value Added Tax @ 20%. In view of continual rising prices, it may be necessary to increase some of our charges from time to time. We would consult with you in such cases.

Our bar facilities are available up to Midnight (with music finishing at midnight also)
