News from the Commissioner’s desk - a whopper trade where super stud Yannoff Cogdell graciously agrees to move to the Dream from Transformers to even out the B Division teams! “The Commish did not want to be accused of team fixing, and therefore executed this big trade,” coach Steve Bryant explained. “We were winning by 30 points in our first 3 games, and something had to be done,” he added. “It immediately makes us a contender,” coach AJ of the Dream stated.

Men’s Game of the Week – Blues vs. OG’s

For the second week in a row, the OG’s lost a tough one, this time to the Blues, a solid team vying for a Finals birth. Led by a hot Mark Rhodes with a sizzling 27 points, the Blues took this see-saw battle by 2 measly points, 72-70. “I was feeling real good after I saw my 3-point shot highlighted in the Legends Favorites folder,” Mark explained. “It’s my 15 minutes of fame,” he added.

Legend of the Week –Jess Johnson (Transformers)

An absolute scoring machine, Jess was simply unstoppable, scoring literally at will with 46 points. Rumor has it, scouts from the Mystics were in the house.

Other Stars in No Particular Order:

1)Ruzic added 17 for the Blues, with a couple that sealed the deal from the foul line.

2)Smith from the BlueSteakz continued his hot hand, leading his 2-0 team with 12.

3)The Smurfs’ Baker also did not slow from last week, adding 22 and another win from these fast-becoming-favorites Smurfs!

4)Noel and Trotter each had 14 to lead the defending champ Blades to another win, this time, over the struggling Ghods, who dropped to 0-2. “I don’t understand it,” explained The Ghods leader, Zeus. “I brought my stud partner Rob Goff back and we still lost,” he added.

5)Cogdell of the 3-0 Transformers poured in 20 in one of his double-headers.

6)Commish Cortese somehow got a double-double, scoring 10 in each of his two games. “My payments to the opposing players and the refs continue to make me a good alternate scoring threat,” he explained. This may be my only shot to make the Commish Corner,” he added.
